GOURY
This small French port is situated at the north-
It was from this small tidal port that SEA FOX operated to Alderney.
The lifeboat station is unique in that the boat sits on a turntable which allows her to be launched on a carriage on rails, and depending upon the height of the tide she is launched through one of two doors, either via the slip alongside the jetty or the slip which can be seen leading out into deeper water.
