The St. Peter Port to Fermain Bay service commenced in 1927, and operated in conjunction with the tea rooms at the bay under the title of Fermain Marine & Catering , both being owned by the Ferguson family.
Percy Ferguson retired at the end of the 1993 season, and the service ceased.
The Café at Fermain was taken over by new proprietors in 1996 and a year later they recommenced service to the bay from St. Peter Port using the former Herm launch ALOUETTE, but it was not a success and was withdrawn.
